Zirconia is the most tissue friendly material for abutments. The ASC abutment by Nobel Biocare is the Dr. Heldt’s preferred choice not only best for tissue but it also gives the most aesthetic results since the zirconia comes in different shades. Titanium abutments on the other hand are grey and creates a grey hue to crowns.
